As founder of Aristocuts in 1994, I originally began my hairdressing journey in Leighton Buzzard serving an apprenticeship. Enjoying Art at school I soon developed my skills within hairdressing and found myself with regular loyal clientele. Opening Aristocuts was a little scary but it has certainly has kept me busy, with extensions and improvements to the business over the years and having a total salon refurbishment in 2011. I’m delighted to see Aristocuts Hair Salon progress and the makeover image now reflects our service inside and out. Hair dressing is my passion and I thrive in being creative with hair and giving a great service. My hairdressing knowledge and precision cutting skills are echoed throughout the salon as an assessor and I actively encourage our future stars. I feel so lucky and grateful to all our customers for trusting and appreciating what we have to offer. Our team will go out of their way to give our clients the best hairdressing in our area and that makes me very happy. With the art of hair dressing comes ambition, creativity, passion and flare. Some of the many qualities you will remember when visiting us at Aristocuts.
As Manager, I look after the daily needs of the Salon supporting Sarah and advising where necessary. I enjoy driving our team to strive to be the best they can be and find it extremely important to give everyone an equal opportunity to learn more, and love their job!! When it comes to hairdressing, I just love working in all areas of the trade. I’m a keen trend spotter and enjoy encouraging up to date haircuts, fashion colour and beautiful hair-up styles. Since joining Aristocuts in 2006 I’ve increased my knowledge massively, giving me a wealth of information to offer clients, passing on tips to ensure their hair looks good every day. Its great being busy in the salon but still having a social natter and giggle is really nice. I specialise in Bridal and prom work and have recieved many compliments, making Brides and Prom students feel wonderful on their special day.
I’m a good listener and like to achieve exactly what my clients require with their hair. Nobody likes a bad hair day and I can work with you to get your hair looking and feeling its best. Using the right products is a key for healthy, shiny manageable hair at home. That’s always a winner! Since starting as an apprentice in 2000, I have attended regular courses, some in London and some in house and I’m now qualified as an assessor, teaching our apprentices and working as a senior designer in the salon. I’m loving doing what I do best. The best compliment is someone else complimenting my work. I look forward to seeing you and using my skills to make you look and feel amazing.
I have a passion for all things hair and love getting to know my clients and forming a special bond with them. It’s great to have the opportunity I have as a hairdresser to see wonderful people look and feel great! I seriously can’t pick a favourite technique because I equally love colour, cutting and styling, and creating a personalised look from start to finish, my known speciality being in creating ladies restyles and gents barbering. I enjoy all the latest trends and I’m always up for a challenge, but still have the upmost respect for the classics. Come and book in with me for a free consultation and I very much look forward to making you look and feel amazing. I’m also rather good at go-karting and currently the Aristocuts champion, hence my beaming smile.
It proves hard work pays off, now a Designer after studying 3 years with Aristocuts Apprentice training scheme, I can offer my clients all the techniques I’ve gained during this time. I enjoy hairdressing and looking after clients and I’m always here to help and still willing to learn. I love attending specialist courses around the country to ensure my clients experience the latest industry techniques available. With personalised and customised dedication to you and your hair, I look forward to designing the best version of you whatever you choose! I love creating Bridal and Prom hair-up styles whilst being a good all rounder and enjoy the opportunity it gives me to create new looks for people. Why not pay us a visit and we can talk about your new look.
Having trained as an apprentice at Aristocuts, my skills continue to grow, and with knowledge comes confidence and the ability to offer you that “feel good factor”. My speciality is in colours, cutting and hair-up styles, and people are often amazed at how a subtle combination can not only transform your hair but enhance the shape of your face. I love to see the difference I can make to people, so they can see the difference in themselves. Aristocuts reflects a positive and friendly environment to all those that enter and always maintains a high standard of service, something I appreciate. Outside of work I’m known for playing the trombone in two brass bands plus singing and playing the piano in my spare time, quite the entertainer. I can offer you a great new look in tune with the latest trends.
As first point of contact for our clients you can always expect a warm welcome and ready to help approach. I enjoy being organised and ensuring the salon runs smoothly each day, putting the fun into scheduling appointments to suit our clients and the team. Ask me a question about our services and I’ll find you the answer! I’m happy to recommend professional hair products we use in the salon and keen on ensuring your visit runs smoothly. Having been part of the Aristocuts team since 2006 and often assisting with shampooing and hair treatments, I was keen to take my skills to another level and successfully completed an Indian Head Massage course. Now offered at the basin, it’s a popular service within the salon, I really enjoy passing on the benefits of this wonderful Holistic Treatment. Great idea for a thoughtful gift voucher too!
